Happy Monday everyone!  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I finished up all my final exams and finished with 3 B’s.  I joked that this is the difference between undergrad and grad school.  Used to I would have had a fit if I got 3 B’s.  But working full-time and going to grad school full time, I was ecstatic to get 3 B’s and get them over with!  One semester left to go!  On Saturday, we went out to dinner and then got a fun visit from our nephews!  Sunday was the Christmas Tree lighting and parade in our neighborhood.  We had some soup, drank hot chocoalte and drove around on the golf cart looking at al lthe Christmas lights.  It was the perfect weekend.  = )
I’m on the road today.  I’ll be traveling for about 12 hours today visiting all my locations and salesmen in Arkansas.  It’ll be a long day, but sometimes it’s nice getting out of the office to do something a little different.  And once we make it past this week, Chrismtas will be here!  Today I wanted to stye a holiday look, but I wanted to make it a little different from your typical holiday look.  It is semi-dressy, semi-girly, but still casual and comfortable.  What is more fun to pair with a midi skirt than a sweatshirt?!  Girly and comfortable – win, win!  I have been on a big midi skirt kick lately.  This one is from Shabby Apple, and you must check it out.  It is perfect for the holidays, but I could see wearing it for so many other occassions too.  For sizing, it runs true to size, and the quality is amazing.  I paired it with my quirky dinosaur sweatshirt from Skip N Whistle.  You may remember their unicorn tee I wore here.  They have such fun pieces.  I topped it all off with my new 59 Threads vest.  It runs small, but it is very thick and soft!  Such a great layering piece.
I wanted to remind you about the giveaway that Patricia Nash Handbags has going on right now. They are spreading the holiday cheer by launching their 12 Days of Christmas giveaway  Patricia Nash Designs is by encouraging others to gift their loved ones by sharing a story about someone special to them. From stories about someone who deserves a new handbag to someone you enjoy shopping with, the Patricia Nash Designs team wants to know why their fans’ loved ones deserve a coveted handbag from this season’s holiday collection. To enter, just click here and share your story.  I am styling one of their bags from their holdiay collection today, and I am also spreading the holiday cheer by gifting one to my little sister.  Like me, she is in grad school full time, but she is living with her mother-in-law right now.  Going to grad school and working full-time can get tough (and expensive), so she will be receiving this amazing bag here.  Let’s hope she doesn’t read this post today to spoil the surprise.  = )  Make sure to enter their giveaway and let me know who you want to spread the holiday cheer with this Christmas.
Linking up with Carly.
