Happy Breastfeeding Awareness Month!Β  Before I started breastfeeding, I didn’t even know there was an awareness month.Β  I knew nothing about breastfeeding, and I really do mean nothing.Β  It was much harder than I ever imagined and more time consuming, but I know it has been the best thing I could do for Leighton.Β  After waiting 7 years to have that little sweetheart, you better believe I want to do the very best for her that I can.Β  We are 10 months end, and it is so much easier now, and I’m so glad I decided to give it a shot and didn’t give up.Β  Like I mentioned earlier, breastfeeding is hard.Β  It might come easily to some, but it was scary and tiring for me, so I definitely applaud women who breastfeed for any amount of time at all.Β  It is so great for your baby.Β  And honestly, I really applaud any mom at all, even if you don’t breastfeed.Β  Being a mom is tough work.Β  The job never ends.

    I would be most excited about winning the bra! I am 14 weeks postpartum and I exclusively breastfeed. I had a c-section so it took me awhile, but I finally started exercising a few weeks ago! I really need to get a nursing sports bra for my Stroller Strides classes. You should come check out stroller strides in Overton Square! It's pretty fun, and it's kicking my butt back into shape! Fit4Mom is also starting a Stroller Barre class in Shelby Farms next week!

    My little Sterling and I are still figuring out this breastfeeding business and you're absolutely right – it is HARD! I haven't ventured outside in public to breastfeed him just yet because my confidence isn't there. I honestly don't know which I would love more – the sports bra or a nursing friendly dress! I'm guess since my brother-in-law is getting married next month I should really looking into a nursing dress. Thanks for having such a great giveaway.
