This weekend we finally woke up to real fall weather! The high was only in the 60’s, and it had me excited to pull out some of our favorite outwear pieces and layer up. It’s no secret that I love vests and live in them whenever it’s cool enough to. And when it comes to fall layers, I love rich toned hues like olive, wine, mustard, navy and camel.
Leighton and I had so much fun at Priddy Farms a couple weeks ago that we decided to go back again this past weekend the day after her birthday. I bundled up in this pretty fleece vest with this faux croc crossbody bag from the StyleWatch X Charming Charlie collection. This collection from Charming Charlie is SO good. Most of the pieces are under $40, and they come in so many pretty fall colors.
Since one of my favorite looks these days are mommy and me looks, Leighton and I decided to do a little coordinating on our trip to the farm. My hands down favorite children’s store is Janie & Jack. Their new collection is filled with capes, ponchos, herringbone riding pants, sweaters and plaid. I am obsessed with it all. I bought Leighton these adorable ponte pants and this cape and paired it with her adorable Hunter boots from Janie and Jack for the perfect weekend outfit for a cool brisk day. We had the best time together! Since it was her birthday weekend, we just had to cram the fun in all weekend long! What are your favorite outerwear pieces?
