Mamas & Minis Collective – Non-Candy Easter Basket Ideas for Your Child

Non-Candy Easter Basket Ideas for Your Child by Laura from Walking in Memphis in High Heels

On Me:Ā  Jeans // Top // Hoodie c/o // Watch c/o // Necklace c/o // Ring c/o

On Leighton:Ā  Dress c/o // Bow c/o // Shoes c/o
As you all know, Leighton can’t have sugar because of her teeth defect.Ā  So, I’m always looking forĀ different ideas forĀ holidays.Ā  Until I had Leighton and then we found out about her missing some of the enamel on her teeth, I honestly didn’t notice how many holidays were geared towards candy and chocolate, but they really are!Ā  So…in an effort to try to keep the sugar away, I wanted to share today some great non-candy Easter basket ideas.Ā  And I have plenty!
Warning – don’tĀ be like me and go WAY overboard spending way more on non-candy things than you would have bought if you were just buying chocolate and candy hahaha!Ā  You know how it is though, you cannot get out of Target without buying almost the entire store, and that’s basically what happened when I went shopping for LC.Ā  It was so much fun picking out stuff for her Easter basket though.Ā  We only ended up putting one food item in her basket – these Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies.Ā  She loves these, and I thought they were too perfect for Easter.Ā  A couple of my other favorite easter basket ideas is a candy scented little clutch from Moonlit Lullaby and this little personalized book by state.Ā  I wasĀ also SO happy to finally find some Easter egg decorating kits thatĀ represented the true meaning ofĀ Easter.Ā  This little decorating kit willĀ be so muchĀ fun to play with on Easter day, and it is says He is Risen.
Make sure you also check out Lipgloss and Crayons who is sharing a cute roundup of Easter bonnets, Sandy a la Mode who is sharing 9 things to fill your toddler’s Easter basket with and Chasing Davies who is sharing some adorable Easter shirts.Ā  Have you started to shop for your little one’s Easter basket yet?Ā  Let me know some of your other favorite non-candy Easter basket ideas!Ā  xo.

  1. It's really cool how you were able to think up so many awesome ideas that don't involve sugary sweets! I know that even for kids who don't have the same struggles as her, parents often look for healthier options or things that aren't even food-related at all, so this basket is fantastic and so creative!
