Microdermabrasion at Home for Sensitive Skin

This microdermabrasion at home post is sponsored by Trophy Skin, but all opinions are 100% my own. Thanks for helping me to support the brands I love.Microdermabrasion at Home for Sensitive Skin featured by popular beauty blogger, Walking in Memphis in High Heels

I love going to the spa…don’t we all?! But sometimes we just don’t have time for it…or the money.  But I want to take care of my skin, my health and wellbeing and try to take preventative action when it comes to aging.  I have never professionally done microdermabrasion, but I’ve been wanting to try it for a while.  It helps to smooth and brighten dull skin, restoring a youthful glow.  I have been using the Trophy Skin MicrodermMD Home Microdermabrasion System for the last couple months and cannot say enough good things about it.  I have really been able to tell a difference in how much more radiant my skin looks.

MICRODERMABRASION AT HOME WITH TROPHY SKIN

This microdermabrasion at home system is so easy to use and only takes about 5 minutes. It is one of the first at home microdermabrasion machines that uses dual action therapy with a combination of diamond tipped exfoliation and suction, enabling you to have TRUE microdermabrasion treatments at home unlike other systems.  During microdermabrasion, the outer layer of skin is removed using light abrasion which promotes the growth of healthy new cells.  The suction used in the treatment also increases blood flow to the epidermis which rebuilds collagen and elastin.  Over time dull and dead skin cells build up.  This is what makes your skin look dull.  The microdermabrasion system buffs away dead skin cells, revealing fresh, radiant skin and promoting cell turnover.

Auto mode is a 5 minute treatment for your full face and neck and is what I’ve been using. You can also use it on other parts of your body like your chest, hands and legs.  I know hands and chest show age easily, so I plan on starting to use it on those areas as well.  In those 5 minutes it reduces the appearance of wrinkles, dark spots, visible pores and scarring while smoothing and softening your skin. And if you have sensitive skin, you can use this machine too!  Trophy Skin just recently updated their microdermabrasion system with a sensitive mode.  So you can choose between auto, custom and sensitive mode. I have sensitive skin, so the sensitive mode has been great for me to get to experience microdermabrasion at home without irritating my skin.  I can’t wait to take some pictures of my hands and chest and do a post on the before and after of them soon.

  1. I have never tried it, but have always wanted to! And what’s better than being able to do it at home? Thanks for sharing this girl! Happy weekend.

  2. I had microderm done at my dermatologist a long time ago and I loved the results. This looks like a great option to keep it up at home!
