After more than 3 years, I finally got Leighton a new mattress. She loved her previous mattress, but it was definitely time for a new one after those toddler years. After all, she turns 6 this coming month! After shopping around, we decided on a mattress from My Green Mattress, and Leighton absolutely loves it!

While I need a new mattress, I take care of my parents and just yesterday my Dad was talking about needing a new mattress or a pillow to help raise him up at an angle so he could breathe better at night. His current mattress wouldn’t work with an adjustable base, but I was checking out My Green Mattress’s website and see that the Natural Escape mattress *can* be used with an adjustable base. If I won this for my parents, I would definitely check it out for myself. I’ve been looking at buying a wool topper for my bed because of wool’s temperature regulating properties…and I’d be curious if the wool that’s in the cover could help me when it comes to sleeping hot.

I need a new mattress! I bought a new Sealy that was manufactured March of 2018 and I had to have it replaced by Nov. of 2019. I waited until the new “improved” mattress came out after January 2020, here we are in October and it’s starting to already wear down. I would understand if I was bedridden and/or weighed over 200lbs, but I am neither of those things and the mattress should last a lot longer than these have. I need something that is truly a good product.
