SHOP THIS 2 MONTH OLD BABY BOY UPDATE:
Well another month flew by, and Grayson will actually be 3 months old in less than 2 weeks now, goodness! Around 5 weeks, Grayson started sleeping in his own room in his crib, eek! Just like the others, I could tell he wanted more room to stretch out and wasn’t really a fan of being swaddled anymore. He did great! He started taking all of his naps there, and takes 3 naps a day. He has 2 naps each that last 2 hours and 1 short cat nap before bath, dinner and bedtime.
His stretches are even longer now during the night. He still sleeps 12-13 hours at night with waking up just once in the morning somewhere between the 8-10 hour mark. He nurses and goes back to bed. He still goes to bed by 8:00pm too. He is still such a great little sleeper and loves his Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit. We used this with the other kiddos too! = ) It helps to calm him and keep him from startling and waking himself up. It’s been a lifesaver!
Grayson is still so happy and is smiling and cooing like crazy now. It is so cute. He loves to try to mimic us and repeat sounds that we make. He loves looking at our faces from across the room and just grinning ear to ear. At his 7 week checkup, he was 12 lbs 13 oz. He is growing way too fast! He was eating 6-8 times a day, but now he is down to 5 times a day with bottles between 4-5 oz.
Grayson started PDO 3 days a week last week. I feel like it just snuck up on me too fast. It is nice to have some uninterrupted time to work, but I usually just end up picking him up after 3 or 4 hours because I miss him. Mom problems lol! He is doing great there, and the ladies who work there just love Grayson. He is such a sweet, happy baby (unless he has gas or is hungry lol!)
He loves tummy time and loves playing with his activity gym, on his lounger, in his swing or being held so he can see what is going on. He tries so hard to roll over when you lie him on his back, and he pushes up and over with his legs. Still no rolling yet though!
To be so young, he is already on his 4th little weekend getaway trip this week. He goes with the flow pretty well and is happy to nap in his car seat, his stroller or his crib or pack n play. And he sleeps at night just as well in his pack n play as his crib at home. I just make sure I pack his sound machine, and he’s good to go. He seems to be just fine in his car seat with not much fussing unless he is tired and is trying to go to sleep. He’s a great little traveler!
I already can’t wait to share the next month with y’all soon as he has already changed so much from month 2 to 3! What are some of your favorite milestones for baby? I am just loving the grinning and cooing! = )
He’s so cute! The Merlin Magic Sleepsuit is such a lifesaver. I recommended it to every single mama I know for sanity purposes lol!
