Back to School Essentials 2021 for Kids

It’s that time of year again! Leighton is starting school in just 2 weeks. Where did the summer go?! School shopping lists and teacher assignments are being sent out, loads of stores are running big sales on school supplies, and some kids are beginning to get eager for the start of a new year. Leighton is at that age where she can’t wait to go back to school to see her friends!

As a parent, it can be a stressful time, no matter how bittersweet it may be. It was just starting to feel like summer, we were working our summer bucket list, and now it’s time to get prepared to go back! What will help though is making sure you (and the kids!) are prepared (and have some cute fun stuff to prepared them with.) = )

This year, I figured I would share some of the back to school essentials in our house! At the very top of Leighton’s list? A pretty new backpack. We really love these from Pottery Barn Kids. They’re super great quality and hold up all year long and then some, have loads of storage space inside, and they’re just adorable. Many of their patterns also have matching lunchboxes to go with them!
