SHOP MY WINTER ONE DERLAND BIRTHDAY PARTY SUPPLIES:
Baby Gray is one! And apparently not even a baby anymore! We had the best day celebrating him for his 1st birthday party! He was happy and lively and loving all the attention, playing with toys and wrapping paper and eating cake of course lol!
We had a winter one derland birthday theme since it was cold and I had my house all decorated for Christmas already. It was perfect! We used some of the same bottleneck brush trees that I used for Leighton’s glamping birthday party for Grayson’s party too. They’re also perfect to use for Christmas! I’m all about reusing the decorations if possible.
For Grayson’s winter one derland birthday party invitations, we used Minted, and I love how they turned out. We went with these pretty blue invitations that said winter one-derland and started the entire theme of his party. It was perfect for a November baby.
We went with a gorgeous naked birthday cake from Smallcakes with a chocolate ganache dip, and it was SO good! They always have the tastiest, moistest cakes and cupcakes! And of course, Grayson had his own little smash cake too! It was so cute! I found this adorable little buffalo plaid cake topper, and it was perfect. He didn’t know what to think about the cake at first, but I can definitely say I think he was a fan! He ate until he was stuffed. = )
We used the same happy birthday banner that we used for Leighton’s party too since it had pine trees on it. And we used the pine tree napkins and bear plates since we call him Gray bear. = ) And under the birthday cakes, I used the same birch wood slices that we used for our wedding. We usually pull them out for every birthday party and get together. They have gotten used so much over the last couple years.
We also threw in lots of buffalo plaid since it’s perfect for the holidays and that tied in his little cake topper too. We ate lots of pizza, fruit and veggies and of course the cake! We lit up the fire pit and enjoyed sitting outside with the fire while the kids ran all their energy out inside lol. Out front, we had the same light up letters that we used for Leighton’s birthday party from Alpha Lit. It added such a fun touch out front, and it made it easy to know which house was ours for the party!
On the morning of Grayson’s birthday, we also blew up balloons and let him play in them and took some cute little pictures too. He was loving it, and somehow he actually didn’t pop the balloons. Overall, we had a great time with friends and family, and he loved seeing everyone, eating and getting lots of fun toys. He is one sweet, loved little boy, and I just can’t believe it has come and gone so quickly! He is going to be one loved and lucky little boy with his 2 big sisters. = ) Happy birthday baby Grayson!
