Switch up your bedding. There is nothing that makes a statement in your bedroom better than updated bedding. It provides the best kind of bedroom update. This plush comforter gives such a luxurious look and feels to the entire room! I picked out this pretty Southern Living comforter from Dillard’s Wolfchase. I love everything about it. It is so soft and comfortable, and I love that it is all just 1 piece! No duvet and comforter are required!
Add color with some new pillows. I added this pretty axis print lumbar pillow from Beddy’s on our bed, and I love how well it pairs with the rest of the bedding! Psst, I also have a Beddy’s comforter on the bed. It is so quick and easy to zip up and make the bed, and it looks so great when paired with some plush bedding and pillows to really take it up a notch!
Update your lighting. Add fresh new table lamps, floor lamps or even wall or ceiling lighting. Too much for your budget? Just add updated lamp shades or even swap out your bulbs for daytime bright white bulbs. It instantly updates your room!
Add some texture with a blanket. I have this faux fur ombre throw blanket and love it! It is so soft, plush and really brings some great texture and neutral colors into the room. It also adds a bit of a masculine touch to the bedding in my opinion.
Hang new prints and artwork. It doesn’t have to be expensive though. Have some frames? Just swap out with some new family photos, frame some of your own photography or you can even print off some prints from Etsy and then add them into your frame. Simple artwork or family photos are some of my favorites!
