Velvet isn’t just for the holidays! It’s great all fall and winter long! Leighton and I coordinated recently for a mom and daughter date in our Maurices favorites. I am wearing this pretty mock neck velvet dress, and Leighton wore this fun velvet jumpsuit with her new combat boots.
Leighton picked out the restaurant, and we had an entire day and night doing everything she wanted to do. We had a blast! And…we were warm, cozy (and cute!) in our coordinating velvet outfits. Spring isn’t here yet, so it’s the perfect time to wear your favorite winter pieces.
I’ve mentioned it before, but we absolutely love maurices and their new tween line, Evsie. I love that Leighton can easily find pieces there that match her age and style. I feel like it is one of the few places where she can! And I love maurices styles…and especially their prices! Are you a fan of velvet in the winter months?

What a fun topic, velvet is such a fun fabric. Sadly my first fashion post in forever is coats and boots not velvet but sharing anyway.
