Shop Our Primary Bedroom
We made some easy little updates to our primary bedroom last year by swapping out some pillows, blankets, and bedding. And after adding a new tv to our living room here, we decided to do the same to our bedroom. Our tv in our bedroom recently started messing up, so we knew it was the perfect time to go ahead and upgrade it as we did in our living room. After we got our new Samsung frame tv in, we immediately knew we wanted to add a Deco TV Frames frame to it to upgrade the look even more. It truly does make your tv look like a work of art! I love them so much! Next on my list is upgrading our family room after our current tv dies. Not to wish our tv to stop working, but I sure do love these new TVs! = )
Some of the other ways we updated our room one the past year was to switch up our bedding. There is nothing that makes a statement in your bedroom better than updated bedding. It provides the best kind of bedroom update. This plush comforter gives such a luxurious look and feels to the entire room! I picked out this pretty Southern Living comforter from Dillard’s Wolfchase. I love everything about it. It is so soft and comfortable, and I love that it is all just 1 piece! No duvet and comforter are required!
Next, I added some fun accent colors with some new pillows and vases. Our accent pillows add just a little bit of pretty seafoam green color. And the finishing touch on the dresser is my pretty vases and this gorgeous cane vase with faux (yes, I said faux!) hydrangeas. It makes the room looks so cozy and pretty! And I love the touches of blue and green and how well they pair with our pretty “artwork.”
Add some texture with bedding and blankets. I have this faux fur ombre throw blanket and love it! It is so soft, plush and really brings some great texture and neutral colors into the room. It also adds a bit of a masculine touch to the bedding in my opinion. I added this pretty axis print lumbar pillow from Beddy’s on our bed, and I love how well it pairs with the rest of the bedding! Psst, I also have a Beddy’s comforter on the bed. It is so quick and easy to zip up and make the bed, and it looks so great when paired with some plush bedding and pillows to really take it up a notch!
I have always loved our bright white calming and relaxing primary bedroom, but I think adding more pops of green and blue accents along with our pretty frame tv, frame, and art we selected really adds to it. It truly is a relaxing and comfy space now. The next area at our house I want to update more is our family room and our patio. Stay tuned for those updates!
