While you don’t have to wear red, white, and blue for Labor Day, it is definitely a habit that most of us tend to do. I love getting to wear some of my summer favorites one more time before school is well underway and fall is here. And I love that the kids get to wear their favorite swimsuits and their little matching red white and blue outfits from Memorial Day and Independence Day. Gotta stretch that dollar for these Labor Day looks!

I got this adorable little dress a couple months ago, and I held onto it knowing that it would be perfect to wear for Labor Day weekend. I love the smocked bustling and the tiered layers with polka dots. It is such a flattering, cute dress! And it works great over a swimsuit too if your’e headed to the lake for the weekend.

We are going to the lake, and we are looking forward to swimming, riding the waverunner and doing some hiking. Cannot wait! What are your plans for Labor Day weekend? Will you be heading out of town? What do you typically wear for the holiday weekend?
