Patriotic Gluten-Free Fruit Pizza
This has been such a fun and yummy recipe for years! And if you’re gluten free, don’t worry, you can still enjoy it! It is one that I love and even the kids love it too. For Leighton though, she loves a higher ratio of cool whip to cream cheese, so keep that in mind if you have kids who aren’t a big fan of cheese/cream cheese. = )
Gluten Free Patriotic Fruit Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 package Sweet Loren's sugar cookies
- 8 oz Cool Whip
- 8 oz whipped cream cheese
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1 cup strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees per the packaging instructions.
- Use a glass baking dish and spread the cookies out onto the dish until it makes one entire sheet of dough filling the bottom of the pan.
- Put the pan in the oven and bake the sugar cookies for approximately 10 minutes. Remove and let cool for approximately an hour.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese and cool whip. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the mixture onto the sugar cookie crust and smooth it out with a knife.
- Wash and apply blueberries in the top left corner like on the American flag.
- Wash and slice in half strawberries. Apply rows of strawberries like on the flag. Enjoy!
If you end up making it, let me know what you think! I don’t add sugar like some people do. I feel like the cookie crust, cool whip and fruit are already sweet enough!
