Happy 11th birthday! I cannot believe it has been 11 years since I became a mom. You have grown into such a young lady, and I feel so grateful that I get to be your mom and learn more from you each and everyday! A couple weeks ago, I threw Leighton a sleepover soiree at the Peabody Hotel to celebrate, and I think it was a sleepover that she will never forget!

If you haven’t stayed at the Peabody before, you will definitely want to add it to your list. It is a must do, and especially for a fun birthday party sleepover. It is the South’s grand hotel! This hotel is our favorite hotel in Memphis. It has so much rich history. You can watch the ducks march twice a day, grab a bite to eat in the lobby while people watching, grab some treats at the Deli and then go for a swim. There is so much to do here. Trust me, it really is an experience you just can’t miss!

I surprised Leighton and her friends with the softest pjs from Soma, this adorable little bow bag from Pottery Barn Teen, a fun pave initial necklace from Baublebar, and the most gorgeous cookies I’ve ever seen from Sweet LaLa’s Bakery. I think they ended up making the cutest little party favors that the girls will actually use. Leighton and her friends loved them so much! And ever single cookie got eaten. They were almost too beautiful too eat…but they were too yummy to not eat!

My sweet friend from Schady Creations made the prettiest and sweetest banner. Her talent truly blows me away! This pretty banner mixed with the custom designed cookies really set the tone for a girly, fun sleepover soiree! If you’re in party planning mode, check out the incredible vendors I used, and make sure you check out the Peabody too. It’s definitely our favorite hotel in Memphis for a reason!
I am so happy with how it all turned out! Leighton had so much fun, and I know she will remember this sleepover forever. All of her friends left with a big smile. I was happy to have been able to be there as she had her first big sleepover. It’s a memory I’ll never forget either. = ) I cannot wait to see what year 11 has in store for Leighton. Happy birthday Leighton! I love you so much!
