We had the best trip in the mountains recently, and it even snowed while we were there. It was chilly, but it was 100% worth it! We bundled up and enjoyed every moment of it. I originally thought it was going to be much warmer the week we were in the mountains, but thank goodness I packed several layers and winter pieces too. Being an overpacker really paid off this trip lol.
