I think back to when I was in middle school. I was SO excited to start doing my own makeup, curling my own hair and picking out my own outfits. Unfortunately, I found that I’m only good at the latter. = ) Curling and styling my hair has never been my forte. No matter how hard I tried, it was just never my strong suit. Put together an outfit, clean a house to perfection, write a new article, style a table or plan an event start to finish? No problem! But that is as far as my creative side goes. I did not get the hair talent. That was given to my sister. = )
Then comes the TYMO CurlPro Plus, and I’m finally back in the game! I’ve tried a lot of curling tools over the years, and if I’m being honest, most of them either take too long, are not easy for me to use, or they leave me with curls that fall out before the day is over. So when I tried the TYMO CurlPro Plus Pink, I was curious to see if it would actually make curling my hair easier. After using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say it has become one of the quickest tools in my routine! And my curls look SO much better than any I’ve ever done!

The first thing that caught my attention about the TYMO CurlPro Plus was the design. I watched the video on the website, and the tool looked so unique and so fast and easy to use. I also noticed was how sleek the design was. The pink color is gorgeous, but more importantly, the automatic curling design makes it feel really beginner-friendly. That is exactly what I needed! If you’ve ever struggled with wrapping your hair around a curling wand or getting the angle right, this tool simplifies the process a ton! I have long thick hair, so that can sometimes be taxing and difficult to get it just right. Instead of manually wrapping your hair around a barrel, the TYMO CurlPro Plus actually draws your hair into the chamber and curls it for you. And honestly, that’s the part that sold me.

My hair curling routine with the CurlPro Plus is pretty simple. I start with dry hair and section my hair into small pieces about an inch or so wide. I typically start on the left side of my face and skip my bangs. I go straight to the hair behind them and start there. I flip the curl button to left since I’m working on the left side of my head and want to curl counter-clockwise. I hold down the power button to turn the tool on and let it warm up. It only takes about a minute. From there, I place the section of hair into the opening of the TYMO CurlPro Plus and press the top button. The tool automatically pulls the hair in and curls it inside the chamber. You will keep it there depending on how tight you want your curls. I want them pretty tight but with a natural look to them still. Think glam waves, so I hold each for about 7 seconds. After I finish the first side of my head, I go to the right side of my head and flip the arrow to the right to curl clockwise. After I repeat that all on the right side, I go back to curl my bangs. I do hold them longer because I want them to be a little tighter and remain curled all day long. I hold them for about 15 seconds.

The first time I used the CurlPro Plus, I was honestly surprised at how easy it was! There’s no awkward wrist twisting which I can never seem to get right or worrying about burning your head like with the other wands or curling irons I’ve used in the past. The curls also hold really well and last all day! They are polished, but still have a natural look to them. If you love curly or wavy hair but want something easier and faster, then the TYMO CurlPro Plus is definitely for you. And at less than $100, it is a steal in my opinion!
