Y’all know we love Renaissance Ross Bridge in Birmingham, Alabama, and we have been visiting here for about 6 years now. We absolutely love it. The views with all the rolling hills are so pretty! The resort is so family friendly. They have amazing food and drinks. And they have an incredible golf course! They just recently renovated all the rooms in the hotel and JT’s last year. This year they renovated Brock’s, and it reopened for dinner too! They also just renovated their golf course this year! If you loved it all before, you will love it even more now. You can read more about our last visit here.
I have shared so much over the years on this resort from the spa to the rooms to the dining and the surrounding area and things to do. So this time, I wanted to focus a little more on one of our favorite attractions here, the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Ross Bridge! The largest golf course construction project ever attempted, the RTJ Golf Trail is home to 26 golf courses. And one of them is right here at Ross Bridge! It’s the perfect addition to this resort. There really is something for everyone to do here at Renaissance Bridge!
Winding through lakes, a waterfall, a gristmill and rolling hills, this 18 hole golf course is the 5th longest course in the world. The views here are just picturesque here. There are several elevation changes throughout this course, but it is a really great course for golfers of all different levels. It has been one of the top golf resorts in North America, and personally, it is one of my absolute favorite golf courses. Whether you are a seasoned golfer or not, you can’t help but love this course and all the stunning views that come with it.
We have played golf a handful of times here at Ross Bridge. Every time I come to vist now, Matt wants to come with me. And of course he just has to play golf here too. And I don’t blame him! It’s one of our favorite things to do. It really is beautiful in every season, but I especially love it in the spring and fall. Matt loves it most when his golf game is at its best. = )
If you’re not a golfer, there is still so much here to do at this hotel! For fine dining, Brock’s just reopened for dinner, and their menu is amazing. You will definitely want to give it a try along with some of their signature cocktails or wine. You already know that we LOVE Brock’s for breakfast because of their incredible breakfast buffet. It is so good, and the entire family will love it! JT’s has live music some nights, and they honestly have a great dinner menu too along with drinks. They also have an indoor and outdoor pool, and they have a hot tub.
The resort is currently working on construction to add an adults only pool too. Everyone knows that Ross Bridge is known for it’s pool in the summertime here, and my kids sure love it too! They also have a great spa, and some of my best massages ever have been right here. See, there really is something for everyone here!
If you’re looking for a quick getaway to a resort that offers so much and is great for families, couples, girls trips and anything between, Renaissance Ross Bridge is it! Let me know if you’ve been!
