Mint Butterflies + Evie J Mint Necklace Giveaway!!

Halfway through the week means halfway to my half marathon this Sunday, yikes!  I’ll be doing another training run tonight, and I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow.  Until then, we shall talk about fashion!  I know yall have heard me say it each day on Instagram, Twitter, and here, but I am running to be Wallis’ first US Ambassador.  The winner will be chosen from the top 5, and I have been in the top 5 for the last week, but am barely holding on right now.  You can vote every 24 hours, and the voting ends in 6 days on April 9.  I would really, really appreciate your support and your vote!  I’ve said it from the beginning that I never thought I would win (since I’m definitely the newest and smallest blogger I’m sure), and am just happy to even be in the running, but it sure has been fun and exciting, and you never really know what will happen until you try.  Either way, I appreciate all of yall’s support, kind words and voting (and I apologize for all the begging and pleading.)  It really means a lot to me, and I can’t say that enough (of course I can try by saying it as many times as I have said the word “vote”.)  = )With that being said, Wallis sent me this gorgeous butterfly blouse.  Yall know I love blouses (yes, my husband cringes when I say that word!)  I wear them almost everyday with everything – with pencil skirts to work, with lace shorts, with denim skinnies and even here with faux leather leggings.  Yall have probably noticed by now that my style is a little eclectiic, and I’m okay with that.  I used to think I had to fall into a certain category, but I’ve since learned that it’s just not me.  One day I’m dressy and glam, the next is preppy and classic, then edgy and chic (or at least I would like to think so.)  If you know me, you probably know that I’ve always have a broad sense of taste in most things – even food and home decor; I’m all over the place!  I love it all, and that’s just who I am.  And I’m okay with that.  The last thing I ever want to do is misrepsent who I am.  So when you read my blog you will always know that you are seeing the real me – one who doesn’t really fall into any one style category (and who wears Nikes shorts, tshirts and flip flops a lot in the summer), one who loves to be outdoors, run and workout, but still has PLENTY of lazy moments, one who loves to eat most anything but tries to make healthy choices (and fails at it a lot), one who loves my family and my 2 yorkies (and yes, the yorkies are absolutely my kids for now!) and one who is still trying to graduate and figure out what all life has in store for me.  Oh yeah, and I am a bit of a computer dork and sometimes painfully shy and self-conscious.  = )  Now that I’ve written a book, keep reading to see how to enter today’s giveaway, and don’t forget to enter the other giveaways here, here and here.

    Oh girl, I am all over the place when it comes to style too. I'm not really sure if I fall in a category. I'm all hippy and bohemian sometimes. Or preppy sometimes. Or classic chic sometimes. Or just in shorts/flipflops/tees in the summer and flannel/jeans/boots all winter. 😉 But that's okay 'cause it's me. 🙂 I love all your fun style – you inspire me with new ideas all the time. 🙂
