It’s finally the weekend!  Yesterday was one of those days that I could not seem to wake up before 5:00am to type up my blog post.  I was slacking big time, and my warm bed was calling my name, but I will make up for it with a post this weekend.  It ended up being a busy work day with computer training in the morning, then traveling to a location, meeting with salesmen and customers, eating some catfish and crawfish and then traveling back.  I have never been a catfish fan (I know that’s probably a sin in the south,) but the seasoning they had on it yesterday was amazing!  I might have to give it another chance next time.  It is now warming up this weekend, and it is even supposed to be almost 60 by Sunday.  Thank goodness!
Today I’m teaming up with the fabulous, most adorable new mother Tara from Jimmy Choos & Tennis Shoes.  I’m sure you’ve seen her on my blog a couple of times in the past.  She is a constant read for me, and I also love to follow along on Instagram.  Today we teamed up to both style a layered look so it has been so ridiculously cold lately (can you tell I’m not happy about it?)  Tara has had quite a bit of snow where she is, and she looks great in her suede boots, her plaid jacket and her hat.  Make sure you stop by Tara’s blog to see her outfit details.  When I took my photos, it was still around 50 so I didn’t have to bundle up quite as much as I had to this week.  I wore a comfortable, but still cute look with my faux leather leggings, a black blouse, my faux fur vest and my favorite new scarf from Prima Donna.  The scarf is now sold out, but they do have some other amazing ones you will want to check out.  My studded clutch is from there also!  I also added another pop of color with my beautiful Fringe & Lace necklace.  It is the perfect colors for fall and winter, and it will even carry you into spring.  If you haven’t heard of Fringe & Lace yet, you will want to check them out too.  They have some really great, trendy pieces all at amazing prices, and a lot of their stuff is on sale right now too!  Before I go, I would love for you to follow me on Instagram and also check out my interview at Eve’s Addiction blog.  Have a great weekend, and I hope you have some beautiful, warm weather!

  1. Love your outfit. Gorgeous and those shoes are fabulous. No worries, believe me about getting up to post early. That's why I try and do it earlier in the week. It certainly doesn't help that I do shift work 🙁

  2. Love your stacked heel pumps, so cool. I'm thrilled for the weekend. The first full work week after the holidays is always rough!
