I hope everyone is having a great week so far!Β One of my good friends and coworkers had a little girl on Monday, so Shane and I got to go visit them in the hospital last night.Β Little Gabby is so adorable, and we are just so happy for them!Β Β Congratulations Gina (even though I’m sure she has better things to do on her 8 weeks maternity leave than read my blog.)Β = )
Today I have teamed up withΒ Connie from Connie TangΒ to show you a couple differnt ways toΒ wear a midi skirt.Β Midi skirts are my new obsession, and Connie does a great job of rocking one too.Β I absolutely love how she dressed down her red midi skirt by pairing it with a lilac tee, statement necklace and beautiful neutrals.Β This is a great example of how to wear a midi skirt without feeling like you’re overdressed.Β They are definitely more versatile than you would think, and I am proof that even short girls can rock them too!Β I dressed up my midi skirt (surprise, surprise) by pairing it with my new Jane.com blouse and my Sosie bag.Β Β I loveΒ red paired with black and white to tone it down.Β Of course then I had to add a leopard print and lip print, soΒ I’m not really sure how toned down that is.Β = )Β I think the look is a very fun and playful one that would be perfectΒ during the day or for a date.Β I might even have to save it for Valentine’s Day next year too.Β = )Β Β Make sureΒ you check out Connie’s blog to see her outfit details.Β What do you tihnk about midi skirts?Β I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but now I can’t get enough of them!
Love that skirt! Such a pretty look!!

That skirt is gorgeous and it looks like it's the perfect length! I am hesitant of the midi trend since I'm so petite but it looks fabulous on you!

I haven't tried the midi skirt yet, I feel like it would make me look short. Looks great on you ladies though!

Lovely look, although I personally would not consider it a midi. When I imagine midi, I think tea length (mid-calf). But maybe I'm just hip to the lingo these days.
I have been absolutely LOVING midi skirts lately! I feel like they are the only solution to looking dressy at work while still trying to cover my pale-skinned legs, haha. You look fabulous!
