Trend Spin Linkup – How to Style Leggings with Heels

Happy Tuesday! A question I always get a lot this time of year is how do I wear leggings with heels?? Well, it’s cold outside and it’s also the season to eat lots of good food and cozy up with friends and family for the holidays. So… of course we want to especially wear leggings this time of year! And if you can pair your favorite leggings with heels… voila, there’s your perfect “dressed up” comfortable look. I understand completely why so many people want to know how to dress up leggings with their heels. = )

LEGGINGS WITH HEELS: CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE LEGGINGS

I went with my go-to leggings, my Spanx Moto faux leather leggings. I wanted to make sure my top covered up my bottom, so I paired them with a long mock neck sweater. It is so comfy and cozy, and it’s the perfect length to pair with leggings. I think there are so many different style of heels you can pair with this outfit – heeled mules, heeled booties, heeled otk boots and even suede pumps like I’m wearing today. I think leggings are a pretty easy pair with boots, so I wanted to do a pump to mix it up a bit and show you how easily it can be done.

LEGGINGS WITH HEELS: ADD A POP OF COLOR

For a pop of color and layering visual interest, I added a gorgeous green and black gingham scarf similar to this one and this beanie. They definitely add some fun to the outfit and break up the all black look…plus they’re so cozy! I chose all black today number one because it’s slimming and number 2 because I think it’s the perfect blank slate to really add some layers and be able to easily dress up your look in so many ways. You could even pair this with a pretty moto leather jacket that would look so good!
