I hope everyone is having a great week so far! One of my good friends and coworkers had a little girl on Monday, so Shane and I got to go visit them in the hospital last night. Little Gabby is so adorable, and we are just so happy for them! Congratulations Gina (even though I’m sure she has better things to do on her 8 weeks maternity leave than read my blog.) = )
Today I have teamed up with Connie from Connie Tang to show you a couple differnt ways to wear a midi skirt. Midi skirts are my new obsession, and Connie does a great job of rocking one too. I absolutely love how she dressed down her red midi skirt by pairing it with a lilac tee, statement necklace and beautiful neutrals. This is a great example of how to wear a midi skirt without feeling like you’re overdressed. They are definitely more versatile than you would think, and I am proof that even short girls can rock them too! I dressed up my midi skirt (surprise, surprise) by pairing it with my new Jane.com blouse and my Sosie bag. I love red paired with black and white to tone it down. Of course then I had to add a leopard print and lip print, so I’m not really sure how toned down that is. = ) I think the look is a very fun and playful one that would be perfect during the day or for a date. I might even have to save it for Valentine’s Day next year too. = ) Make sure you check out Connie’s blog to see her outfit details. What do you tihnk about midi skirts? I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but now I can’t get enough of them!
Love that skirt! Such a pretty look!!

That skirt is gorgeous and it looks like it's the perfect length! I am hesitant of the midi trend since I'm so petite but it looks fabulous on you!

What a lovely skirt! I have one like that, but I have not find how to combine it yet, so your post was absolutely great and useful for me! 😀

I haven't tried the midi skirt yet, I feel like it would make me look short. Looks great on you ladies though!

Lovely look, although I personally would not consider it a midi. When I imagine midi, I think tea length (mid-calf). But maybe I'm just hip to the lingo these days.
I have been absolutely LOVING midi skirts lately! I feel like they are the only solution to looking dressy at work while still trying to cover my pale-skinned legs, haha. You look fabulous!
