SHOP MY LAYERED FALL LOOK”
Happy Tuesday! I drove 12 hours for work yesterday and am exhausted! I’m finally headed back home from Texas today, and I have to say I really enjoyed the weather there! Those 70’s were nice, and now I’m already preparing myself to get back to Memphis weather in the 50’s. Just saying y’all, but where is fall?!?! = ) We left for our wedding in Missouri and honeymoon in Mexico last month in summer weather and came back to winter in October lol!
Since it is definitely layering weather here in Memphis, I am sharing one of my favorite looks for this time of year, and you know it just has to involve layers, print mixing, booties and beanies – my favorites! I have had this adorable little buffalo check dress for a couple years now, and it is still a favorite. It is only $15 and is perfect to layer and pair with boots, a crossbody and a vest! I paired it with my favorite basic puffer vest you need in your closet and this beanie that comes with a matching one for your kiddo. I cannot wait to see it on Leighton when we go to Lake Tahoe soon!

I’ll admit, I’m not at all mad about the drop in temperature on the East Coast. I sure do love when autumn means somewhere between 50-70°. It’s just so nice to finally cozy up in layers – which you’ve styled so wonderfully here! I love that buffalo plaid dress on you. It’s adorable! And I can see it working well in the holiday season too!

A really cute outfit! And if it were a little colder, a pair of red or black leggings would be an easy add. (I’m with you – what happened to Fall? I live in Vegas and we got down to freezing last night. That almost never happens!)
