Leighton’s 4th Birthday!

I don’t want to be that stereotypical person talking about how I just can’t believe Leighton is 4 and where has the time gone, but…that’s exactly how I feel.  4 has already brought so many fun moments and changes.  Leighton now asks me to lay down with her for a minute at night, and it’s so sweet.  We sing a couple songs together and cuddle in her bed.  She has also started absolutely loving to watch movies.  She will watch them over and over and asks me to cuddle with her on the couch and watch them with her.  It’s so sweet!  I know every new year is always a favorite, but I’m excited to see what this year with Leighton has to hold.

We finally got out to the pumpkin patch a couple weeks ago, and Leighton loved it!  She hadn’t been in a year so I was excited to see what she thought about it now that she was older.  She fell in love with all the itty bitty pumpkins.  They were her favorite along with the white pumpkins.  We painted some of them pink, and I’m not sure I’ve seen her that excited in a while.  My favorite thing about this age is how magical everything is.  How excited everything makes them.  Little things that we take for granted everyday.  They mean so much to her, and they make her so happy.  Happy birthday sweet girl!  You will always be my favorite little pumpkin!  = )
